When using the Known AeroPoint Method to correct an AeroPoint survey, you need to select a geographic or projected coordinate reference system and enter coordinates of the Known AeroPoint location. It's important to reference the ellipsoid height that the coordinate reference system is based off of, because our processing machinery assumes an ellipsoid height when applying the corrections. If you only know the geoid height, you can convert it using an online calculator before entering the ellipsoid height in the Known AeroPoint form.

When processing your survey imagery we may use geoid heights so that your model and outputs will all be geoid based, however this step is separate from the correction step using the Known AeroPoint Method.
