By uploading your images into Propeller, you can quickly check if your images are good quality and can be uploaded or if you might need to refly the site. Doing this while you are still on your worksite and your ground control are still in place can help you produce better quality data and saves you the headache of having to drive back to a remote site to refly.

How to check your images

1. Drop the images into the file upload step, as you would for any standard survey or PPK dataset. Be sure to include the .BIN and MRK files if appropriate.

Once your files are uploaded, the File Validation section at the bottom of the page will show you what has passed the checks. The image below shows a PPK dataset that passes all validations.

2. The list of validations is at the bottom of the page. Validations are to alert you to potential problems in the data that could result in lower accuracy or even unusable data.

When a validation is orange, you will be able to upload, but you should do so with caution. Any red validation will prevent you from uploading your data. Green validations mean the data is good to go!

This image shows some red and orange validations. In this scenario, please contact Propeller support.

3. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please contact Propeller support, right from the portal by clicking on the support tab in the top-right corner.
