Any polygon boundary can be promoted to the DirtMate Dashboard for use as a progress tracking area. To promote a boundary to the DirtMate Dashboard:
Navigate to the site you wish to promote a polygon for use as a progress tracking area.
Click the three dots on the right side of a measurement that has already been created.
Select Show on DirtMate Dashboard.
This will only work for closed polygon measurements. You cannot promote lines or points to the DirtMate Dashboard.
For any polygon that has been promoted to the DirtMate Dashboard, changing its shape in Home View will also affect its values in the Dashboard. To avoid accidents and unwanted edits, create a folder for your DirtMate measurements.
When DirtMate layers are toggled between, volumes shown are compared to the DirtMate surface listed next to the toggle.
Comparing between DirtMate data and Design
To make comparisons between DirtMate data and an existing design file, click on Create A Measurement and select the Compare to Latest Design template.
Comparing between DirtMate data and a Previous Flight
To make comparisons between DirtMate data and a previous flight, click on Create a Measurement and select the Basic Volume template. Set the volume type as Survey Volume Compare.
In the SELECT ITEM dropdown, click on DirtMate then select the date and time of the surface you want to investigate. The measurement will always start on a day that has a drone survey (shown by a green dot). Click OK to display the data.
