Importing and Exporting Missions with GS RTK

It’s possible to transfer saved planned missions between controllers or back them onto a computer. This could be helpful if you purchase a new drone and want to transfer the old missions to it. The process involves copying the .MIS files, which contain details about the mission boundary and flight parameters.

To copy .MIS mission files from your controller:

  1. Insert an SD card into the controller.
  2. Select the stacked bar at top-left of the main GS RTK app screen.
  3. Tap the SD card icon at the bottom of the left menu.
  4. Change the menu at the top to Export
  5. Select the mission(s) to export.
  6. Tap Export at the bottom.

Now the mission exists on the SD card as a .MIS file. You’ll find the file on the SD card inside of the Export folder, which can be found in the DJI folder:

Open SD Card > DJI > Export

If you'd like to back up the MIS file (s), you can connect the SD card to a computer or copy them back onto a controller.

To copy .MIS mission files onto your controller:

  1. Insert the SD card into the controller.
  2. Select the stacked bars at top-left of the main GS RTK app screen.
  3. Tap the SD card icon at the bottom of the left menu.
  4. Change the menu at the top to Import.
  5. Select the mission(s) to import.
  6. Tap Import at the bottom.

These steps make it easy to copy P4R missions between controllers or to back up detailed missions for safekeeping.
