Minimum Requirements
1. Use a Supported Web Browser
Propeller relies on advanced 3D web technologies, which are only compatible with certain browsers. As of March 2025, we support:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
We do not support Chrome or Edge on mobile devices (such as iOS), but Propeller Mobile can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

WebGL is required for running 3D visualizations in your browser. To check if your browser supports WebGL, visit the WebGL test page. If you see a spinning cube, your browser supports WebGL.
3. Have a Stable Internet Connection (10 Mbps or Higher)
Propeller relies on cloud computing and storage, so a stable internet connection is essential. For the best experience:
- Minimum speed: 10 Mbps upload/download
- Recommended: Faster speeds for larger datasets
- Cellular connections: 4G or better is recommended
4. Optimize Your Browser Settings
For smooth performance, we recommend:
