AeroPoints are the backbone of accurate ground control. To ensure your hardware continues to deliver high-precision results, you must maintain an Annual AeroPoints Processing Subscription. This guide covers what is included in your plan, costs, and how to manage your subscription.
The Basics
- New Purchase: Your first 12 months are included when you buy a new set of AeroPoints.
- Bundling: Do you already have an active Propeller Platform (software) license or a PPK subscription? Great news—the AeroPoints subscription is included in those licenses automatically.
- Cost: For standalone users, the subscription is $995 (USD) per year, per AeroPoint group.
- Note: AeroPoint groups are capped at 20 units unless you are a Propeller software customer.
What is covered?
Your annual subscription gives you access to the tools needed to process and manage your ground control data, including:
- Simple workflow: Propeller’s streamlined user workflow, including hotspot uploading.
- AeroPoints Dashboard: Full access to processing reports and battery health monitoring.
- Flexible processing: The ability to process coordinate data via the known point method, CORS, and your own RINEX file.
- Data management: Secure hosting, permission-based sharing, and organization of data over time.
- Support: Our ongoing 24/7 chat support.
What isn’t included?
- The web-based software service that enables PPK tagging of images.
- Processing of full imagery datasets into highly accurate 3D models.
- Full use of the Propeller Platform and its measurement tools.
When does it start?
Your subscription begins on the date you activate your AeroPoints. After the first year included with your purchase, you will need to renew annually.
What happens if I don't renew?
To use Propeller’s processing engine, you must maintain an active subscription.
- Processing Paused: Your AeroPoints can still physically collect and upload new data after your subscription expires. However, you cannot process or download that new data until the subscription is renewed.
- Platform Access: Without a subscription, AeroPoints cannot be used with Propeller processing workflows.
What happens to my data?
- Historical Data: Data uploaded before your subscription expired is safe. You can still download it even if your subscription has lapsed.
- Upgrades: If you want to upgrade your license to include PPK geotag processing or full dataset processing (software license), please contact renewals@propelleraero.com.au.
