Both Apple and Windows computers offer color filters, which allow users to adjust their display so that people with color vision deficiency (CVD)can more easily distinguish colors on the screen.
The Propeller Platform has several tools that use colors to visualize change on your worksite. Turning on color filters might benefit customers with red-green or blue-yellow color blindness.
How to turn on color filters for Windows
Windows 10
1. Go to the Accessibility setting by pressing the Windows logo key + U or select Start>Settings>Accessibility.
2. Select Color filters under the Vision section.
3. Turn on the Color filters toggle.
4. Select a color filter that suits you best from the list.
Windows 11
1. Go to the Accessibility setting by pressing the Windows logo key + U or select Start>Settings>Accessibility.
2. Select Color filters under the Vision section.
3. Turn on the Color filters toggle.
4. Toggle the switch under Color filters to the On position.
5. Select the appropriate color filter from the options provided.
How to turn on color filters for macOS
macOS Ventura and Later
1. Click on the Apple menu () in the upper left corner of the screen and select System Settings.
2. Scroll down and click on Accessibility.
3. Click on Display.
4. Click the Color Filters tab and toggle the switch to On to enable color filters.
5. Choose the appropriate filter for your type of color blindness.
macOS Monterey and Earlier
1. Click on the Apple menu () in the upper left corner of the screen and select System Settings.
2. Scroll down and click on Accessibility.
3. In the left sidebar, select Display under the Vision section.
4. Click on the Color Filters tab.
5. Check the box for Enable Color Filters.
6. Choose the appropriate filter for your type of color blindness.
