Unlock your MACHINES tab: Real-time machine telematics, powered by DirtMate 🚜🗺️

In 2019, a simple question from a customer sparked the idea for DirtMate: “Can we use AeroPoint technology on machines?” 🤔

There have been many iterations (you can read about them here), but here’s where we landed: A flexible GNSS receiver with an onboard IMU that live streams telematics data to the map. We called it DirtMate.

DirtMate maps every move, every track, every machine. It’s a live stream of utilization metrics, surfaces, and load counts without requiring a drone or investing in machine control. Just mount it and map it.

Let’s dig into how DirtMate unlocks additional value for existing Propeller users 👇

What is DirtMate?

DirtMate is a GNSS receiver that unlocks real-time telematics in Propeller. And by real-time, we mean live data, not the 10-15 minute latency that you see with other tracking systems.

It’s a simple, adaptable piece of hardware that wears all the hats you need it to. Whether it's mounted on a machine or serving as a base station, it’s streaming a continuous feed of elevation and utilization data back to Propeller, where you can track it all on the map.

Here are a few different ways you can use a DirtMate:

Machine sensor

Mount a DirtMate on your machine to capture PPK-corrected location, elevation, and utilization data.

Base station

Use DirtMate as a static reference base station to enhance GPS accuracy through RTK/PPK processing.
