This article explains how to set up automated RTK flight uploads for DJI Dock 2 and Dock 3 in Propeller. Complete environment configuration, network and firewall setup, and FlightHub integration steps to start processing your Dock flights automatically. Contact your hardware support team to activate.
| ℹ️ Note: Propeller currently only supports automated uploads of RTK flights for the DJI Dock 2 and Dock 3. |
1. Propeller environment configuration
Ensure your project site is set up in Propeller with the correct CRS. Once complete, contact hardwaresupport@propelleraero.com.au with the following:
- Site URL: the URL of your site
- Ground control points (GCPs) and checkpoints: the CSV file containing the GCPs and checkpoints you intend to use
-
QA threshold preference: the QA level to apply:
- Strict
- Moderate
- Lenient
- Skip all QA
-
Historical consistency: whether to apply historical consistency review with the previously processed survey:
- Yes
- No
-
Survey filtering preference: which filter to apply:
- No filter
- Equipment
- Vegetation
- Structures
- Everything
- Primary uploader: the name and email address of the Propeller account used for uploading Dock datasets. This person will receive automated status emails
2. Network and firewall configuration
For the Dock to communicate effectively, ask your IT team to whitelist the following ports and domains:
Ports:
- TCP:
80,443,3433,4700-5000,5668,5669,6080,6443,8667,9667,30011-30013 - UDP:
3478,4700-5000
Domains to whitelist:
.agora.io.edge.agora.io.sd-rtn.com.edge.sd-rtn.com
3. FlightHub information
To process all flights, including multi-battery missions, share the following from your FlightHub:
- Organization key: see the steps below to locate this
- FlightHub project ID(s) (optional): only required if you want to sync specific FlightHub projects with Propeller
How to find your organization key
-
Go to the top-right corner, click the user icon, and select My Organization
- Select the organization containing the projects you want to sync, then click the settings icon on the right
-
Click the copy icon to copy the Organization key. The organization key is found under the OpenAPI section
How to find your FlightHub project ID (optional)
-
Go to Projects in the top navigation bar
-
Select the project from the left panel using the entry icon
-
The project ID appears in the URL. Copy that segment and share it with us. If syncing multiple projects, include the IDs for all of them
ℹ️ Note: Exclude the # character from the end of the project ID. Including it will cause an error in Propeller. |
