How to Change the Email or Password for Your Propeller Account

This article reviews the different methods for changing your password or email address associated with your Propeller account.

Change the password for your account

Please note: We cannot change your password for you, as this would be a breach of your security.

First, you must consider how you typically log in to access Propeller.

I log in with my username and password, but I forgot my password

1. Go to where you usually log in.

You may need to sign out if you are already logged in to your portal.

2. Type in the email address associated with your account, and click Continue.

2. Click Forgot your password? and follow the prompts to reset your password.

Please note that this could end up in your spam folder.

3. Check your email for additional instructions.

3. Type in your old password and then a new password. Confirm your new password and click CHANGE PASSWORD.

I log in using Single Sign-On (SSO)

If you sign in with SSO (such as through Google, Microsoft, or Trimble), your login is controlled by those systems.  You must do that through those platforms if you forget or need to change your password.

I log in using my company's SSO

If you sign in with your company's SSO, your login is entirely controlled by that system. You will need to contact your company's Administrator for more information.

Change the email address associated with your account

If you need to update the email address used to log in to your portal, you can do that through account settings.

1. Click on your name in the upper-right corner and choose My Profile.

2. Scroll down to the Email Address section.

3. Enter the new email address. You must enter your password to change the email address on record.

4. Click UPDATE EMAIL. You will receive an email at the new address with a link to confirm the change, similar to the image below.

5. Click the link in the email to confirm the change of email address.

If you log in using single sign-on (SSO), you won’t be able to change your email address in your portal—your third-party authentication provider manages these settings. You must update your credentials through them.
