This article will help you and your IT department configure your firewall and proxy settings to ensure seamless access to Propeller. To use Propeller’s platform and all its features, you'll need to whitelist a few specific domains and ports.
Required Domains and Ports
Propeller’s core services operate on the following domains and ports. Please ensure these are allowed through your corporate firewall:
- *.prpellr.com
- *.propelleraero.com
Both of these domains need to be accessible on Port 443. This is the standard port for secure HTTPS traffic.
Additional Services
To make sure you can access all features of the Propeller platform, including our in-app chat support, tutorials, and image hosting, please also whitelist these domains:
Service | Domains to Allow |
| In-app guides & walkthroughs | *.appcues.com *.appcues.net |
| These are for our interactive tutorials and new feature announcements. | |
| Image hosting | *.cloudinary.com |
| This service hosts images used throughout the platform. | |
| In-app chat & support | *.intercomcdn.com *.intercom.io *.zendesk.com |
| This enables our in-app chat function for quick support. | |
| reCAPTCHA | *.gstatic.com *.google.com |
| These are used for security and verification purposes. | |
| AWS S3 | *.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com *.s3-accelerate.dualstack.amazonaws.com |
| These domains are used to host and serve customer data, speeding up data uploads to our platform. | |
Websockets
For certain features and a smoother user experience, Propeller also requires websockets to be enabled on your network.
Email Whitelisting
To make sure you receive all important communication from us, you may also want to whitelist the domains our emails are sent from:
- propelleraero.com
- propelleraero.com.au
By allowing these domains and ports, your IT department can ensure a smooth and fully functional experience with the Propeller platform. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to our support team!
