As an active Propeller customer, you can download data from the Propeller Platform. But what do we mean by “data,” and what happens to it when your license expires?
What do we consider data?
Simply put, data is anything in your Propeller Platform you can view, download, or interact with. This also includes any survey data you upload to the Platform and any files our data team exports and makes available to you while processing your survey data.
Exportable data
The Propeller Platform stores data in numerous different file formats. With an active license, you can download these files for your entire survey or a specific portion of the survey.
How is data deleted?
There are a few ways that data can be deleted from your portal.
- As a user, you can delete data that you no longer need or is no longer relevant to your project. This includes entire datasets, measurements, and any data uploaded by a user to the platform.
- When you request that we reprocess data or apply a different filter, the previous dataset will be deleted and replaced with the newly reprocessed or filtered dataset.
What happens to my data if I let my license expire?
If your license expires, you will no longer have access to the platform or any data.
Once your license expires and you confirm that you will not renew it, the data housed for your organization will be deleted. This process will occur after a 14 day grace period. Once the data is deleted, it will not be recoverable.
To renew your subscription or if you have any questions regarding renewing your license, please contact renewals@propelleraero.com.au.
What if I want my data to be stored after license expiry?
If your license is due to expire and you aren’t in the position to renew it, Propeller is able to host your data for a yearly fee. Please contact your account manager or email renewals@propelleraero.com.au for more information.
