Connecting AeroPoints to the app

AeroPoints 2 connect via Bluetooth. With your AeroPoint powered on, enable Bluetooth on your device and open the Propeller mobile app. Navigate to the AeroPoints tab via the side menu. Each connected AeroPoint will appear as a card in the main list.

If an AeroPoint doesn't appear, tap SEARCH AGAIN. Note that AeroPoints 2 can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time, so confirm the AeroPoint isn't already paired to another device.

Connected AeroPoints display their charging and battery status. Tap the card to open the detail view for more information on charging status and battery health.

Monitoring network diagnostics and upload status

When an AeroPoint is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, the detail view shows network and upload information, including:

  • The name of the network the AeroPoint is connected to
  • Internet connection quality
  • Progress of the current upload
  • Size and capture date for pending and active uploads

When AeroPoints upload data, the Survey view lists data being uploaded or queued, displayed in chronological order. Once a capture uploads successfully, it no longer appears in the app on the next connection. Check your AeroPoints dashboard for historical data.

💡 Tip: If you're having trouble with the connection or upload, you can configure a custom hotspot. See Configuring a custom hotspot with the Propeller mobile app
