How to Turn Off the Aircraft RTK Positioning on DJI Pilot 2

Your Matrice 300 RTK (M300) or Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E) drone comes equipped with Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS correction technology. However, Propeller uses a Post-Processing Kinematic (PPK) workflow to process survey data.

If you receive a message on your remote controller (RC) saying “RTK Position Error, RTK disconnected (0x1), Restart aircraft and resume RTK,” the aircraft’s RTK positioning is active and must be turned off.

Turning Off RTK Positioning

To turn the aircraft’s RTK positioning off:
1. Power on your RC and aircraft
2. From the home screen, tap Pilot 2
3. Tap Enter Camera View
4. Close the Preflight Check menu
5. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner
6. Tap on the RTK icon
7. Turn off RTK Positioning
8. Turn off Maintain Position Accuracy Mode
9. Set the RTK Service Type to NONE
