Changing Course Direction

When planning a mission, one parameter you can adjust is course direction. This controls the orientation of the passes that your drone makes on suvey your site.

You don't need to worry about it most of the time. However, there are certain scenarios where changing the course direction is helpful.

Why would you change the course direction?

Changing the course direction can shorten or lengthen the mission time if you need to hit the 10 minutes of mission time required for the PPK geotags used to correct your survey results. Or, if you need to fly the site in a specific way (such as north-south), you can change the course direction.

How to change the course direction

When planning or editing a mission, you can change the direction of the flight path by dragging the slider or inputting your desired angle in the box next to the slider.
