How to Upload TIN Surfaces

TIN surface, commonly produced by GPS Rover and Total Station equipment (for example, in an exported DXF file) are key to integrating ground-based survey data into the Propeller platform.

TIN surfaces support all core features for measuring and tracking earthworks. This enables users to:

  • Compare surveyed terrain with design plans.
  • Perform volume calculations for cut/fill analysis.
  • Visualize and analyze changes over time.

They can also patch drone surveys or create composite surveys in areas with vegetation or water, enhancing accuracy.

Uploading a TIN Surface
