- Roll, pitch, & yaw for slow movers: We’ve updated DirtMate to detect and report roll, pitch, and yaw for slow-moving vehicles. This is the first version of our new orientation service, and lays the foundation for accurate directional features.

DirtMate 2 Firmware (Version 1.9.1):
- Enhanced boot reliability: We’ve fixed a regression that occurred during sudden power cuts, improving the reliability of the boot sequence.
- Reliable sleep management: Fixes have been implemented to ensure sleep mode works more reliably, and DirtMate will now automatically stay awake for up to three hours to ensure large data uploads finish when it is being used as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Improved WiFi stability: The system now attempts automated recovery when the WiFi module firmware crashes.
- System optimization: Internal updates have reduced runtime memory and CPU usage, contributing to overall stability.

DirtMate 2 Firmware (Version 1.6.0)
- Smarter indoor GNSS status: The GNSS LED now better reflects your DirtMate's status, turning off when no satellites are visible (like indoors).
- Enhanced networking: Your DirtMate now saves power by disabling the LTE modem when no SIM card is installed, and historical data uploads from newest to oldest, getting your most recent data to the server sooner.
- More accurate battery tracking: You'll now have a much clearer picture of your DirtMate's power status. For the most accurate battery percentages, perform one full charge and discharge cycle after updating.

DirtMate 2 Firmware (Version 1.5.0)
- Quickly check your DirtMate's status: The GNSS LED now only blinks when it's set up as a base station, connected, and actively sending data.
- Improved networking reliability: Data routing over LTE now works correctly with roaming SIMs, and the WiFi LED accurately reflects radio status when radios are disabled. We also fixed an issue where the HaLow radio in access point mode would incorrectly fall back to client mode.
- Increased system stability: Automatic firmware updates are now more resilient to unreliable internet connections with new timeouts and retries, and we've locked the CPU frequency to enhance GPS signal quality.
