How to Turn Off the Aircraft RTK Positioning on the Phantom 4 RTK

Your P4R drone comes with Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS correction technology. However, Propeller uses a Post-Processing Kinematic (PPK) workflow to process survey data.

To turn the aircraft’s RTK positioning off, ensure both the drone and the controller are turned on.

1. From the controller home screen, tap Fly.

2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the controller.

3. Tap RTK in the sidebar menu.

4. Make sure the aircraft RTK position toggle is switched off.

TIP: Occasionally check that the RTK positioning option is still turned off, especially if you’ve recently performed a firmware update.

If you receive a message on your controller saying “RTK Position Error, RTK disconnected (0x1), Restart aircraft and resume RTK,” the aircraft’s RTK positioning is turned on and needs to be turned off.
