What’s new?

The new DirtMate Management app empowers users to take full control of their Position Monitoring hardware.

The key features enabled with the app are:

  1. Setup & decommission your Position Monitoring sites.
  2. Manage & decommission the Base DirtMate on a site.
  3. Set the data collection times of each DirtMate to maximize battery life and capture the time required.

Adding a base Dirtmate to an existing monitoring site

A base DirtMate is installed in a fixed location, acting as a reference for the roving DirtMates. If the existing base DirtMate on the site needs to be moved and/or replaced, its position information must be updated in the management app.

A Site can only have one Base DirtMate at a time, so the first step is to end the current Base DirtMate setup before setting up the new one.

Adding a new position monitor to an existing monitoring site

A position Monitor is added via the DirtMates tab.
