The Propeller Platform integrates various data types to create a comprehensive and interactive 3D model of your worksite. This article provides resources for uploading foundational survey data—from raw drone imagery requiring processing to pre-processed files like point clouds and TIN surfaces. It also covers how to overlay design files (such as DXFs or PDFs) to track progress and compare site conditions against your plan, as well as how to add media files to create a complete visual record. Use this guide to find the specific workflow needed for each type of data you manage.
Uploading survey data
PROCESSINGAfter capturing your drone imagery, you are ready to upload it for processing. To begin, click the UPLOAD button in the top-right corner and choose the appropriate data type: Photogrammetry for images or Lidar for point clouds. Please note that a Coordinate Reference System (CRS) must be configured for your site before you can proceed with the upload. Once you have made your selection, the platform will launch a guided workflow to walk you through submitting your files. Propeller will then process this data to generate a high-quality and accurate 3D model of your worksite.

Uploading media
MEDIAUploading media to the Propeller platform is a simple way to enhance your project documentation. These files are geotagged (if location data is included) and linked to your project map, allowing for easy reference and context alongside your survey data. This feature helps create a comprehensive visual record for site analysis, communication, and reporting.
